COMP index
Computer-science and practical-computing notes live here. The folder is currently small, so this index mainly routes to reusable concepts and command-line notes.
Local links
- Concepts index — conceptual scaffold for computing topics.
- Generally useful bits and bots — practical terminal commands and snippets.
Cross-links
- MATHS index supplies formal tools for algorithms, data, optimisation, and ML.
- ML index connects computing practice with statistical modelling.
Use this as the top-level COMP landing page until the area grows enough for more specialised maps.
Working style
Keep computing notes practical but link them to the underlying concept. A command-line recipe is more reusable when it explains the file, process, network, or data model it manipulates. For algorithms and ML, link back to Function, Set, Stats index, and MATHS Equations and definitions where the mathematical object needs to be precise.
Growth plan
As this area grows, split it into maps for programming languages, systems, algorithms, tooling, and machine learning implementation notes. For now, this index is deliberately compact and acts as the stable landing page for the COMP folder.
